No. 1 ranked Orlando Christian Prep faced another challenge and came through Tuesday night in the Clash At The Cross boys basketball event at Central Florida Christian Academy.
The Warriors, No. 1 in the Sentinel Super 16 area rankings, found themselves down early when Miami Florida Christian knocked down three 3-point shots for a 9-7 lead. But OCP used its superior size and its own offensive repertoire to turn the game around and win 77-54.
“They were a scrappy team and we were kind of sloppy in the first half,” said Warriors junior A.J. Brown, who scored 16 of his game-high 24 points after the break.
