New England Revolution reportedly to sign Polish striker Adam Buksa

BOSTON, Mass. – The New England Revolution will continue their recent trend of making big investments in attacking players.

Polish striker Adam Buksa will sign with the Revolution this week as one of the top three most-expensive transfers in club history, according to multiple reports.

Buksa, 23, last played for Pogon Szczecin of Poland’s top league. He is expected to become New England’s third designated player on the current roster, joining other blockbuster signings Carles Gil, who was acquired last winter on a club-record $2.5 million fee from Deportivo La Coruna, and Argentine striker Gustavo Bou, who the Revolution bought in August from Club Tijuana for $6 million.
