National high school hall of fame to induct 12 new members in Orlando

The National Federation of State High School Associations will add seven athletes, three coaches and two other contributors to its hall of fame Thursday night at the Orlando World Center Marriott.

The 38th NFHS National High School Hall of Fame induction ceremony begins at 6 p.m. The event will be streamed live online by the NFHS Network.

Headlining the Class of 2021 this year is record-setting quarterback Tim Couchout of Leslie County High School in Hyden, Kentucky, longtime NBA player Alex English from Dreher High in Columbia, South Carolina, and recently retired MLB player Matt Holliday out of Stillwater, Oklahoma.
