Nashville SC reinforced its backline Monday ahead of its debut season in Major League Soccer.
The expansion side signed Colombian under-23 centerback Miguel Nazarit using Targeted Allocation Money.
“Miguel is a talented central defender who has gained outstanding experience playing in the top flight in Colombia,” Nashville SC general manager Mike Jacobs said. “His combination of athleticism and one-v-one defending makes him someone who has the potential to be a key contributor in our team.”
Nazarit comes to Major League Soccer from Colombian outfit Once Caldas, where he has played for three seasons.
