Two Miami Hurricanes were featured on the 2021 preseason All-ACC Team, with safety Bubba Bolden and punter Lou Hedley representing UM on the team voted on by 147 media members.
The selection is Bolden’s third major preseason honor, with the fourth-year safety previously being named to the watch lists for the Jim Thorpe Award and Chuck Bednarik Award, which are annually given to college football’s most outstanding defensive back and most outstanding defensive player, respectively.
Bolden is coming off a 2020 season in which he was named a semifinalist for the Jim Thorpe Award and a second-team All-ACC selection after leading the Hurricanes with 74 total tackles (6.
