Miami Hurricanes’ offensive line competition narrowing down as unit focuses on physicality

Coach Manny Diaz may have have said that the Miami Hurricanes only had two starters figured out (D’Eriq King at quarterback and Lou Hedley at punter) at the beginning of preseason camp, but it sounds like the offensive linemen’s depth chart is starting to form.

While speaking on 560-WQAM earlier this week after the team’s closed-door scrimmage Sunday, UM offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach Rhett Lashlee mentioned he has a good idea of who the top players are going to be in the offensive linemen’s rotation, and this week coaches will firm up who the starters will be.
