Rasesh "Sesh" Thakkar, 54, serves as senior managing director of The Tavistock Group, a global investment group that owns Lake Nona. He helped bring Sanford Burnham, the UCF Medical School, and USTA training campus to Lake Nona. He spoke with Mary Shanklin about working with Orlando City Soccer Chairman Flávio Augusto da Silva and President Phil Rawlins to bring the team's training facilities there.
CFB: How did the Orlando City Soccer training facility come together for Lake Nona?
It came together because of the friendship that Phil and Flavio and I have.
