Lake Mary rallies past Lake Gibson | High School Football

LAKE MARY — C.J. Sheets returned a blocked punt five yards for a go-ahead score, and Lake Mary won a turnover-plagued game 15-14 against visiting Lakeland Lake Gibson on Friday night.

The Rams, No. 8 in the Sentinel Super 16 rankings, gave Lake Gibson quarterback Logan Hackett fits, sacking him twice and picking him off twice.

“We knew we were going to send pressure off the edge,” said Lake Mary linebacker Stone Boss, who had six tackles, including four in the fourth quarter. “We got to him really good, because we got a guy off the edge who’s a really good rusher.
