Adamson, a standout senior attacker for Lake Highland Prep’s undefeated girls lacrosse team and a Syracuse signee, broke her elbow in a March 3 game against rival Bishop Moore.
After the majority of her junior season was cancelled due to the outbreak of the pandemic, Adamson — who is ranked by Inside Lacrosse as the top recruit in the nation at the attack position — was suddenly in danger of also losing her final spring with her varsity teammates.
“I was really frustrated just because it was upsetting not to be out on the field with my friends,” Adamson said.
