The Miami Dolphins’ decision-makers will have a difficult challenge trimming the roster in a month because of the depth that a handful of positions feature.
While it’s a stretch to say there are 53 players on Miami’s training camp roster who belong on an NFL roster, there are some units — like receiver, tight end and defensive linemen — where tough calls will be made.
The exhibition season, and the two sets of joint practices Miami will hold this week with the Chicago Bears and next week against the Atlanta Falcons, will go a long way towards determining who is safe and who isn’t.
