For the second straight week, Jones quarterback Julian Calvez put up big numbers, throwing four touchdown passes in only one half of football as rain and lightning ended the game with Jones rolling 40-0 Thursday night.
Calvez, who threw five touchdown passes and had 368 yards in the air in a rout of Dr. Phillips last week, hooked up with four different receivers for touchdowns against New Smyrna. Jones statistics for the Jones-NSB game were not yet available.
