As West Orange 2022 receiver Jayden Gibson sat with his mother and younger brother in the Swamp on Saturday, he was fully impressed by the atmosphere.
“They got a first down and I could not even hear myself talk,” said Gibson, the No. 3-ranked player in the Sentinel’s 2022 Central Florida Super60. “It’s new, too. I’ve never seen it like this. There’s a whole lot of people here.”
Gibson will be announcing his college choice Oct. 13, and the vibe during the Gators’ game against No. 1-ranked Alabama could be significant in his decision-making process.
