The wait to see Javier “Chicharito” Hernandez step on the field with his new LA Galaxy teammates is over.
The Mexican international has received his P-1 Visa and has been added to the Galaxy’s active roster.
The 31-year-old forward is now cleared to train with teammates — previously he had to work on the side — and will likely be featured in the club’s preseason friendly against Toronto FC Saturday at Dignity Health Sports Complex.
Hernandez told reporters on Saturday he was respecting the process and hoped to obtain the Visa sooner than later.
