The Josh Rosen Chapter was expensive, unproductive, mysterious at the end and … well, something they had to do.

Following that rule would have eased a lot of pain for the Dolphins the past couple of decades. No, it doesn’t look good they finally started following this idea by trading a second- and a fifth-round pick for Rosen after not going after the likes of Lamar Jackson, Deshaun Watson and Patrick Mahomes in recent years.

So they took a chance on Rosen. And I’ve got no problem with that. It’s a little curious they dumped him with no one filling the third quarterback role in a season where that looks more valuable than other years.
