HOUSTON — The Houston Dynamo start their 2020 campaign Saturday at home against the L.A. Galaxy under a new head coach, Tab Ramos.
Although the home team might be seen as the underdog after a disappointing finish last year, Houston feels confident with their preseason work under a new manager, and are ready to give their fans a first season win.
One cause for optimism is Houston’s good record against the Galaxy. The last time these two teams met was back in 2019 when the Dynamo beat the Galaxy, 4-2, at home — and in the last three years, it has been Houston the team with more victories at three wins, two ties, and one loss.
