Isn’t it amazing what happens to the reputation of coaches when they leave a bad team for a great one?

“Frank Vogel was considered a really good coach, then after two years in Orlando, I guess he got stupid and now he’s a genius again,” sarcastically says another former Magic coach Stan Van Gundy, now an analyst at TNT and NBA-TV. “That pretty much tells you that the media judges coaches strictly on results. Let’s be honest, Frank didn’t just go from great to stupid to great.”
