GAINESVILLE — Florida golfer Annabell Fuller will tee it up Saturday at Augusta National Golf Club with a fighting chance to claim the second women’s amateur tournament staged by the iconic venue.
The Gators’ sophomore from England sits 3-over par 147 total and four shots behind leaders Rose Zhang and Ingrid Lindblad entering the final round of the Augusta National Women’s Amateur.
Fuller carded a 3-over 75 during the second round on a difficult Thursday at Champions Retreat Golf Club in Evans, Ga., and is tied for 10th place. Her 36-hole performance was more than enough to land Fuller among the top 30 of 82 golfers and into the final round to be played at Augusta National, home to next week’s Masters Tournament.
