The Miami Hurricanes received a commitment from one of their top recruiting targets for their 2022 class to continue a strong month on the recruiting trail, with Isaiah Horton announcing his pledge to Miami on social media on Wednesday.
Horton, a four-star wide receiver out of Oakland High School in Murfreesboro, Tenn., picked UM over Alabama, Florida and Tennessee, which were his four finalists since February.
Horton was expected to commit to Miami, with both 247Sports’ and Rivals’ projections leading into Wednesday that he’d chose the Hurricanes.
He took his only official visit in June to Miami, but had two unofficial visits at Tennessee last month while also making unofficial visits at Florida and Alabama.
