Bryan Thomas had two sacks and Cole West returned an interception for a touchdown Friday to help Foundation Academy’s defense seal a 42-7 victory over The Master’s Academy.
The Lions, who have posted their first 3-0 start since starting 6-0 in 2018, racked up five sacks and held the Eagles to minus-40 yards rushing.
“We’ve got a very good defensive line,” Foundation coach Brad Lord said. "I know we’re a 2A team, but I’d put my defensive line against any team in Central Florida. I’ve got Bryan Thomas; he’s got seven offers. Donovan Branch, Edward Byrd, they’re all Division I players.
