Foundation Academy football is the first high school sports program in the Orlando area scheduled to return to campus since mid-March when athletic activities were canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The private school, located in Winter Garden, announced more than a week ago that athletes could return for off-season workouts beginning Monday. Safety guidelines were implemented last week.
“Our players know the responsibility that they have for the whole school right now,” said Foundation football coach Brad Lord. “All eyes are on us.”
