Convincing wins against five area teams has Foundation Academy sitting atop the Orlando Sentinel small schools Super Six football rankings entering the postseason.
The Lions (6-1) host Gainesville St. Francis (0-8) in a Class 2A region quarterfinal on Nov. 13. A comfortable win, which is expected, would send Foundation on the road the following week against either Orangewood Christian (5-3) or Deltona Trinity Christian (4-4).
Orangewood edged Lake Highland Prep (3-2) for the No. 6 spot in the rankings. The Rams have won five in a row since opening the season with three straight losses.
