Safety Bacarri Rambo, who played nine games with the Miami Dolphins in 2016, was arrested late Monday night and charged with rape, the Athens (Ga.) Banner-Herald reported.
According to the Athens Banner-Herald, the Athens-Clarke County Police responded to a call about a rape on Saturday at 1:17 a.m. at the Georgia Heights apartments complex in downtown Athens. Rambo is listed as a resident at the complex. The alleged victim is a 21-year-old University of Georgia student.
Rambo was still in jail as of Tuesday morning, but was working to get a bond hearing, his lawyer told the Banner-Herald.
