Former Dolphins running back Frank Gore signs with rival Jets

According to Pro Football Talk, Gore signed a one-year contract with the Jets on Tuesday to remove some of the burden off workhorse back Le’Veon Bell.

The longtime NFL running back spent the 2018 season with Gase and the Dolphins before signing a one-year, $2 million contract with the Buffalo Bills last offseason.

Gore ranks third on the NFL’s all-time rushing list with 15,347 yards. Last season, he passed Barry Sanders, who ran for 15,269 yards. Gore has 18,944 total yards from scrimmage for fifth on that list, trailing Marshall Faulk at No. 4 with 19,154.
