Proponents of the sport were hoping to start as a sanctioned sport in 2020-2021 but the delay in getting supplements, stipends and contracts in budgets.
The request was recommended by FHSAA executive director George Tomyn for the annual meeting that was held via teleconference this year due to the coronavirus pandemic.
