Florida A&M University announced a new six-year agreement with Nike for athletic footwear, apparel and more.
The deal serves all 14 of the university’s sports programs in addition to the Marching 100 band, who is set to perform at the NBA All-Star weekend next week.
Nike will outfit all student-athletes with Lebron James’ uniforms, which will include footwear specifically designed for the school, according to the press release.
Vice President and Director of Athletics Kortna Gosha called FAMU an “elite institution with a rich tradition” and believes “...our student-athletes deserve a student-athlete experience that is second to none.
