Despite some last-minute changes to its lineup that saw two European powerhouses pull out days before the international tournament kicked off, the seventh edition of the Florida Cup still went on in front of a Colombian-heavy crowd on Sunday.
Playing in the championship match, Premier League club Everton had to rally and go the distance, defeating Colombian side Millonarios F.C. 10-9 in penalties (1-1 at the end of regulation) to claim the 2021 Florida Cup at Camping World Stadium.
