Miami Hurricanes quarterback D’Eriq King put himself in elite company with his game against North Carolina State on Friday night. He also keeps elite company.
It’s known King is closely connected to Florida Gators signal caller Kyle Trask as former high school teammates, but King also has a relationship with Ohio State quarterback Justin Fields.
After King threw for 430 yards and five touchdowns and added 105 yards rushing on Friday and Fields and Trask also had standout performances on Saturday, they all congratulated each other, King said on Wednesday.
“I talked to those guys, and we exchanged congratulations,” King said.
