Dolphins work quickly to sign undrafted rookies following NFL draft

The Miami Dolphins moved aggressively following the 2020 NFL draft, agree to terms with eight undrafted rookie free agents to adding them to the team’s haul of 11 drafted players.

The NFL Network was the first to report that Miami signed Mississippi defensive tackle Benito Jones, an undersized (6-foot-1, 325 pounds) but productive run stuffer who contributed 132 tackles, and 10.5 sacks during his four seasons at Ole Miss.

Jones, who has unique movement skills for a defensive lineman his size, was projected as a prospect worthy of a late-round selection because of his lower body strength, and high motor.
