Dolphins’ Jesse Davis embraces becoming leader of offensive line

After spending the past five years working his way up from being a practice squad player to become an established three-year starter, the 28 year old woke up one morning after the Miami’s Dolphins’ massive offseason makeover — which featured the franchise spending nearly $250 million — and realized he was the most experienced returnee on his team’s offensive line.

Add in the selection of three rookies Miami took early in the 2020 draft, and Davis concluded that his teammates would be looking to him for guidance the way he once looked to Daniel Kilgore, Mike Pouncey, Josh Sitton and Branden Albert to show him how to watch film, train, practice and prepare himself for game days.
