Dolphins camp: Solomon Kindley works to resurrect starting role, stock up, stock down and observations from Thursday

LAKE FOREST, ILL. — Solomon Kindley has an opportunity to shed the second-season slump he appears to be in.

The undisclosed injury Liam Eichenberg suffered during Wednesday’s practice has opened the door for Kindley, a 13-game starter last season, to reacquaint himself with the first-team offensive line.

Kindley has had a rough offseason for various reasons the team won’t disclose, and it got so bad he spent a good portion of last week working with the third-team offensive line.

But the former Georgia standout the Dolphins drafted in the fourth round of the 2020 has kept working with the understanding his time would come, and eventually there would be an opportunity to prove himself.
