Dolphins camp: Solomon Kindley addresses his demotion; stock up, stock down and other Monday observations

MIAMI GARDENS — Solomon Kindley was the only rookie offensive linemen who didn’t have to share his starting role with another player a year ago around this time.

Kindley, the former University of Georgia standout the Miami Dolphins selected in the fourth-round of the 2020 NFL draft, began training camp as the first-team right guard, and never relinquished the spot, holding it for all but one game in 2020.

Fast forward to the first day of the second week of the 2021 training camp and Kindley appears to be firmly entrenched into a backup role. In fact, he’s spent the past two practices as the third-team guard, working on both sides of the line.
