Coldest match ever between MLS teams: Toronto ices Colorado

This is more then pretty cool, it’s ice cold.

The Colorado Rapids and Toronto FC made history Tuesday night, playing in the coldest weather ever for a match between two MLS teams.

About 1,500 supporters were in the stands in Commerce City, Colo., to cheer on the Rapids in their CONCACAF Champions League series match. To their disappointment, the reigning MLS Cup champions from Canada took a a 2-0 win in the first leg of their series. Jonathan Osorio and Sebastian Giovinco scored second-half goals for the Reds.

But more notable than the outcome of the match was the weather.
