As much as Miami Dolphins defensive tackle Christian Wilkins clamors for more opportunities on offense, coach Brian Flores is ready to playfully shoot those requests down.
Wilkins, who caught an interception in Miami’s 28-17 win over the Los Angeles Rams last week, believes he has great on-field vision, has the motion in his hips to break on the football and soft hands to catch it with ease.
Wilkins believes he can be a “legit offensive weapon,” especially for a Dolphins team looking to get more from their receivers and running backs on offense after two trades at the NFL deadline Tuesday.
