As Orlando City prepares to take on Atlanta United they’ll be bolstered by the return of their captain, Jonathan Spector.
Spector returns to the lineup tonight for the first time since July 7th against LAFC where he exited with a hamstring injury in the 25th minute. Tonight will be just the ninth start for Spector who also struggled with concussion’s earlier in the season.
In front of Spector in the midfield, City fans will get their first look at Carlos Ascues. Orlando City acquired the versatile defender/midfielder on August 16th. He made 13 league appearances and four in the Copa Libertadores for Alianza Lima in 2018.
