Canadian youngster Alphonso Davies had a stellar end to 2019 for Bundesliga side Bayern Munich.
Since the end of October, he has started in all 13 games for the German giants, never missing a minute of play. Davies also dished out four assists over that stretch.
For his efforts, the supporters of the club voted the 19-year-old as Bayern’s Player of the Month for December, the club announced Friday. Davies captured 41 percent of the vote, finishing ahead of Philippe Coutinho and Robert Lewandowski.
A product of the Vancouver Whitecaps academy, Davies often featured as a winger and played more forward for the Major League Soccer side.
