Orlando Pride star Ali Krieger and talk show host Ellen DeGeneres are among more than 30 athletes and celebrities who will serve as ambassadors for the 2022 Special Olympics USA Games being held in Orlando.
The group is expected to support thousands of Special Olympic athletes training across the country ahead of the games being held June 5-12, 2022, in Central Florida.
Krieger, who also is a veteran member of the U.S. women’s national team, is joined on the list by several other athletes with Orlando ties — Lee Corso, Johnny Damon, Grant Hill and Warren Sapp.
