After spending the past few seasons in Mexico, Rodrigo Lopez is ready for a second go-around in the USL Championship.
Sacramento Republic FC announced Friday that it had signed Lopez to a deal ahead of the 2020 season. No terms of the deal were disclosed.
“Sacramento has always held a special place in my heart,” Lopez said in a statement from the club. “I’m excited to return to Republic FC and contribute on the field as we chase another championship for the city. Raising a cup for the club in its inaugural season was an honor and I look forward to building on that milestone.
