3 things we learned from FSU football’s loss to Georgia Tech

Florida State got off to a promising start, but the Seminoles couldn’t keep up their momentum and suffered a 16-13 loss to Georgia Tech during the 2020 season opener Saturday in Tallahassee. Check out the top three things we learned from FSU’s loss.

After allowing 84 sacks during the past two seasons, Florida State thought the offensive line was due for a breakout season. Early on Saturday, it appeared the line might live up to expectations after allowing one sack and six tackles for a loss through three quarters. But in the fourth, Georgia Tech’s defense reached quarterback James Blackman, sacking him twice and forcing a crucial fumble deep in Florida State territory.
