Orlando City signed goalkeeper Greg Ranjitsingh on Dec. 19, 2018. The former Louisville City player was reunited with his old coach, James O’Connor. The Canadian keeper led Louisville City to two championships in the USL, and was brought in to shore up a squad that had not re-signed Joe Bendik or Earl Edwards Jr. Though it looked as though O’Connor’s former keeper might compete for minutes, the signing of Brian Rowe in February limited Ranjitsingh’s playing time.
Ranjitsingh played in two of the team’s 34 matches during the 2019 MLS season, and started both of those.
