12 Florida wrestlers crack preseason national rankings

Manatee state champion Tylynn Lukens is the highest-ranked wrestler from the state, coming in at No. 6 at 182 pounds.

Also cracking the top ten is American Heritage’s Mikey Tal-Shahar. The senior is ranked at No. 10 at 195 pounds.

Tom Crook is No. 13 at 132 pounds with Braden Basile (No. 16 at 126), Jack Crook (No. 20 at 138), Kai Owen (No. 20 at 133) also being ranked for the Tigers.

Tampa Prep’s Ethan Mojena (No. 15) and Palmetto Ridge’s Brennan Van Hoecke (No. 17) join Basile in the 126 pound rankings, the only weight class with three Florida wrestlers in the Top 20.
