The Wilsonville Wildcats captured the Class 5A boys basketball title in March, and now three of the team members brought a national title back to Oregon.
Along with Clackamas' Matt O'Brien, Wildcats Zach Reichle, Jake Roche and Zac Woodworth captured the U18 USA Basketball 3-on-3 national championship Sunday at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colo.
Competing as Team Hoopla, the team qualified for the national tournament by winning the qualifier at Hoopla in Salem last summer. They defeated Western Pennslyvania Elite Gold 21-17 in the division final to claim the championship.
Hoopla went 7-0 in the tournament, and Reichle was named the division's MVP.
