Women’s Crew Heads to Palouse to Take on Cougars

CORVALLIS, Ore. – The Oregon State women’s rowing team is back in action Saturday morning when the Beavers travel to Pullman, Wash. to take on No. 13 Washington State.

The Beavers will race five boats, the Varsity 8, Second Varsity 8, Varsity 4+, Second Varsity 4+ and the Third Varsity 8. The 3V8 will mostly consist of the crews from the V4+ and 2V4+.

Racing is slated to begin at 9 a.m. with the 2V4+ event. The other four races follow and will finish at approximately 10:15.

COURSE: The spectacular views provided by the Snake River Canyon make Wawawai Landing one of the most scenic rowing courses in the nation.
