It seems to be an article of faith among many Oregon State fans that football coach Gary Andersen is on the right track.
I'm waiting to be convinced.
The objective evidence shows the Beavers went from 5-7 in Mike Riley's last season to 2-10 in Andersen's first.
I don't buy the notion that Riley left the program in complete disarray. Granted, three of his last five seasons were sub-.500, and so was his conference record in the 2013 Hawaii Bowl season.
But Riley handed Andersen some serviceable players, many of whom either chose not to buy into what Andersen was selling, or were chased away by Andersen's staff.
