CORVALLIS – Oregon State guard has earned Pac-12 Player of the Week honors, the conference office announced on Monday.
Wiese recorded a triple-double in the Beavers' lone game of the week, a 93-52 victory over UC Davis. The communication major finished the game with 27 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists, while shooting 10-for-12 from the floor. Wiese's triple-double was the fourth in Oregon State history, and her 27 points marked a career-high.
The Player of the Week honor is the second of Wiese's career, and the first for the Beavers this season. A three-time All-Pac-12 Selection, the senior is pursuing the conference's all-time 3-point record, needing six more to match Candice Wiggins' mark of 295.
