Former Oregon star Vernon Adams has something to prove. Former Oregon defensive lineman DeForest Buckner doesn't have much to prove. Both players will be among the more than 300 former college players participating in the NFL Scouting Combine beginning Tuesday in Indianapolis.
The NFL Scouting Combine is an event that gives NFL decision-makers a comprehensive look at more than 300 top college football players. The players will meet with NFL coaches, scouts, executives and owners for interviews along with medical exams, psychological, physical and aptitude testing. The players will also work out in various on-field drills.
