Oregon State had a very rough first half where they were out-gained by the Boise State Broncos 435-67 in total yards. At the half, the Beavers trailed the Broncos 31-7. The Beavers turned to Freshmen Conor Blount to help the Beavers cut the lead to 31-17 in the 3rd quarter. The Beaver Defense did a great job containing the Bronco Offense in the second half by limiting the Boise offense to 77 yards and no touchdowns (the only touchdown Boise scored in the second half was on a 19 yard fumble return for touchdown by Darren Lee).
