SOUTH BEND, Ind. – The Oregon State cross country team set four new Top-20 marks and defeated three regionally-ranked opponents on Friday at the Joe Piane Notre Dame Invitational in South Bend.
Senior Emily Weber, sophomore Juliana Mount, junior Kristiane Width and freshman Sara Christianson all set new Top-20 standards and substantially bettered their cross country PRs for 5,000 meters. OSU placed 19th in the 23-team Blue race, which featured six teams in this week's USTFCCCA Top 30 national rankings and 21 in the UTTFCCA's regional rankings.
Weber placed 52nd overall in 17:11.
