Watch: Villanova's Kris Jenkins tops list of all-time NCAA Tournament buzzer-beaters

The 2016 national championship game looked to be headed to overtime after North Carolina's Marcus Paige's remarkable double-clutch three-point shot tied the game 74-74 with 4.7 seconds remaining. However, Villanova guard Ryan Arcidiacono, took the inbounds pass and dribbled upcourt, stopped, turned and flipped the ball backward to Kris Jenkins, who was trailing on the play. Jenkins, who never hesitated, stopped and took the shot.

The second-ranked Beavers had won 26 consecutive games during the season, but were ominously blown out 87-67 by Arizona State in the final game of the regular season. They struggled and allowed Kansas State to hang around during the entire second-round tournament game at UCLA's Pauley Pavilion and Blackman's 16-foot baseline jumper with two seconds remaining gave the Wildcats a shocking 50-48 win to send the Beavers back to Corvallis.
