On Tuesday, it was formally announced that the Oregon State football program would hire former Beaver quarterback and Washington offensive coordinator Jonathan Smith as its newest head coach. On Wednesday afternoon, he addressed the media in Corvallis for the first time as the leader of the Beavs.
Smith’s comments begin at the 10:25 mark after opening remarks from AD Scott Barnes and OSU president Ed Ray.
Here’s what a few of the media had to say about the presser.
Smith credited Mike Riley with giving him the opportunity and expanding his understanding of schematics.
