Here are my three takeaways from the weekend in college football ...
-- The Oregon Ducks were beaten and beaten up in all phases of Saturday's game at Washington State -- with the possible exception of kickoff returns. Being good at kickoff returns is not a healthy sign.
The Ducks play unbeaten Washington this week in Autzen Stadium, and on paper this looks ugly for Oregon. But I'm not ready to join the dump Mark Helfrich movement. Let's get past the Washington game and see how the Ducks finish the season.
-- Oregon State not only lost at Colorado Saturday, the Beavers were not competitive.
